Donetsk, Sep 20 - DAN. The Ukrainian representatives in the Contact Group humanitarian subgroup did not show up for the talks in Minsk on Wednesday, Donetsk People’s Republic ombudswoman, DPR representative in the humanitarian subgroup Darya Morozova said on Thursday.
“I wish to note that Kiev’s official representatives were not present at today’s talks. We view it as derailing of the implementation of the Minsk agreements by the Ukrainain side,” Morozova said in comments received by the Donetsk News Agency.
The ombudswoman added that none of the agenda items had been fully discussed because of the absence of the Ukrainian delegation. Kobsteva also said that OSCE coordinator at the Contact Group humanitarian subgroup Toni Frisch had thanked the DPR for arranging private meetings with detainees at DPR penitentiaries.
The Contact Group held a new round of Donbass peace talks in Minsk on September 19. It summed up the results of the meetings held by its four working groups.*jk
