Donetsk, Feb 26 – DAN. Kiev is open about considering an international mission as a means to seize Donbass, said DPR MP Valery Skorokhodov commenting on the words of Ukrainian deputy minister for issues of 'temporarily occupied territories' and internally displaced persons Yuri Grymchak.
"The latest statement of Ukrainian deputy minister, an open russophobia sympathizer, Yuri Grymchak about plans on a two-week seizure of Donbass by force and on working through a Croatian scenario is another proof of Ukrainian aggressive stance and commitment to intervention," Skorokhodov's statement reads.
Earlier Grymchak named three possible ways of Donbass conflict development. He said Kiev is capable of gaining control over the region in two weeks on its own, or can apply Croatian scenario using a UN 'peacekeeping' mission.
The peaceful settlement of the Donbas crises is based on the Minsk Agreements dated 5 September 2014 and, followed by the 19 September 2014 Memorandum on the ceasefire implementation. On 12 February 2015 the negotiators signed the Package of Measures for the Implementation of the Minsk Agreements; it sets forth immediate and comprehensive ceasefire in effect from 15 February 2015; withdrawal of heavy weapons, establishment of a security zone; discussion of modalities of resuming social payments in Donbass; a constitutional reform in Ukraine aimed at a deep decentralization of the state’s system of government. *ot
