Donetsk, Oct 4 – DAN. The Ukrainian president Petr Poroshenko has chosen armed solution to the Donbass conflict by presenting his draft law on the region's status in parliament today, said DPR envoy to the negotiations Denis Pushilin.
"The adoption of the law will signify Ukraine's choosing a war,' his statement seen by DAN reads.
He emphasized that the law empowering president of Ukraine to use armed forces in Donbass to provide national security and defense estranges DPR and LPR from Ukraine further on.
Earlier today, the Ukrainian president Petr Poroshenko presented his draft law "On peculiarities of state policy on ensuring state sovereignty of Ukraine over the temporary occupied territories of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions".
Article 8 of the documents clearly proclaims that 'to ensure national security and defense' in the conflict zone the usage of all forces and hardware is allowed including military hardware of the Ukrainian army, police, security service, etc. Besides, the forces are to act upon national law and Article 51 of the UN Charter rather than the Minsk Agreements approved by the UN Security Council. *ot
