Donetsk, Dec 12 — DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic Acting Head Denis Pushilin has urged all organizations in the Republic to immediately implement maximum telework policies for safety reasons.
Pushilin’s Instruction No 01-21/281 recommends companies of all forms of ownership and self-employed business people to work remotely amid increasing artillery attacks at the Republic by Ukrainian armed formations. DRP authorities at all levels are responsible for informing all concerned.
The DPR leader said in a video address on his Telegram channel on Monday that the Republic had no legal mechanism for mandatory switching to remote work; however this recommendation must be made clear at all levels.
“People have complained just now that in Donetsk’s Petrovsky district, the education department employees were told to go to the office despite the shelling, ” Pushilin said. “It’s inadmissible: we’ll monitor the situation and interfere if necessary.”
In early December, DPR authorities called upon state-owned organizations to switch to teleworking. Pushilin signed his latest instruction on December 12.
In the recent weeks, Kiev army has been launching radial attacks at DPR frontline areas. Strikes have been delivered at central districts of Donetsk which accommodate a large number of office buildings, trade outlets and business, health and education centers. Ukrainian artillery fire claims civilian lives nearly every day.*jk
