Donetsk, Jul 17 - DAN. Parliamentarians of the Donetsk People’s Republic and the Lugansk People’s Republic plan to achieve 85 percent synchronisation of the Donbass Republics’ legislation, DPR parliament speaker Denis Pushilin said in an interview to the Donetsk News Agency.

“According to our estimates, we’ll be able to synchronise the legislation of the DPR and the LPR at 80 to 85 percent,” Pushilin said. “It’s painstaking work given the fact that we’ve been passing laws independently from each other over this period.”

He added that complete synchronisation was not possible due to a number of reasons.

On June 15, DPR and LPR lawmakers held the first conference over inter-parliamentary cooperation. The parliaments signed a protocol of cooperation and set up a working group.*jk
