Donetsk, Mar 1 - DAN. DPR Head, Donetsk Republic social movement chairman Alexander Zakharchenko called for drawing a development programme for the Republic which will make his platform at the upcoming election to DPR’s top post.
“In the first place, we have to work out a DPR development strategy both for a short term and for a long period,” Zakharchenko said at the conference of Donetsk Republic activists in Donetsk on Thursday. “In effect, it will become our election programme.”
The programme will cover all spheres of life but prioritise social issues. Long-term planning is a token of successful state building, he said.
Earlier, Zakharchenko said that he would run in the election to DPR’s top post due to take place this autumn. *jk
