Donetsk, Oct 5 – DAN. Ukrainian side tried to block the discussion of political settlement of the Donbass crisis at today's meeting of political subgroup of the Contact Group in Minsk, DPR envoy to negotiations said.
"Today's meeting is one the most destructive. Ukraine started negotiations with expressing "concern" about our internal social processes, namely the primaries held on October, 2nd," said DPR acting Foreign Minister Natalia Nikonorova.
She explained that Ukraine's representatives tried to misinterpret the primaries as "elections to local councils" referring to publications in Ukrainian media.
"We can only advise Kiev negotiators to avoid reading yellow press and use trustworthy sources, such as DPR official web-sites. Thought it will hardly help if Ukraine aims at finding pretexts to bypass political decisions, counter to the provisions of the Package of Measures," Nikonorova added.
