Donetsk, Nov 8 - DAN. DPR and LPR parliamentarians are currently working towards harmonizing the Republics' legal systems, and exchanging experience in developing legislation, said deputy Chairwoman of DPR People's Council Olga Makeeva speaking at Lugansk Media Center.

"DPR and LPR legislation under development should be synchronized to the utmost. There are differences now and I don't think it is a bad thing. We overcome the challenges we face and you use our experience in law making, as well as we use your experience," she said addressing her Lugansk counterparts.

"We intentionally allow some differences to rest regulations and choose the best ones," she explained.

Makeeva cited Tax Law as an example of DPR relying on LPR experience: the law was passed simultaneously in both Republics and currently DPR is developing amendments based on Lugansk observations.

Donetsk also plans to incorporate LPR counterparts' knowledge in Labour, Criminal, Procedure and Administrative Offenses Codes, to harmonize economic legislations.
