Contact Group discussion of security issues ends without results

Donetsk, Mar 3 – DAN. The meeting of the Contact Group on resolving Donbass crisis ended without significant results, the DPR Foreign Ministry said.

"Discussion of security issues remains inconclusive. According to the DPR Mission to the JCCC, Ukrainian army continues to shell settlements along the contact line. All the calls of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics about the need to agree as soon as possible an updated package of measures to strengthen the ceasefire to prevent further escalation of the conflict are still ignored by the Ukrainian side," the statement reads.

On Wednesday morning, Panteleymonovka and Leninskoye came under mortar and grenade launcher fire, 105 rounds were fired.

According to the JCCC, the intensity of Ukrainian fire grew by 6.5 times over the past 24 hours.
