Donetsk, Aug 9 — DAN. A four-year-old girl has been killed in a Ukrainian artillery attack on the Petrovsky district of Donetsk.
City emergency services launched a rescue operation after a Ukrainian projectile reduced a two-storey house to rubble killing the child and trapping a woman under the ruins.
Ukrainian gunmen fired nine multiple rocket launcher rounds at the Petrovsky district at 11: 45 and 12:05, said the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes (JCCC).
Donetsk and several other DPR settlements have been under enemy fire since Wednesday morning. Artillery strikes at Gorlovka earlier in the day damaged a school in the center of the town and several single-family homes.*jk
