Donetsk, Jan 16 — DAN. Four civilians have been wounded in a Ukrainian artillery attack on Ilyich Avenue in the Kalininsky district of Donetsk on Monday.

The building ruined by shelling accommodated a pharmacy, a food shop, a lawyer’s office and a gym, the Donetsk People’s Republic Healthcare Ministry told the Donetsk News Agency.

The pharmacy administration said that employees might be trapped under debris. Damage control is underway. Emergency services are using special purpose equipment.

“Four people were wounded next to the shop, ” the Healthcare Ministry said.

Rescuers, medics and Investigative Committee officers are working at the scene. Donetsk mayor Alexey Kulemzin has come to Kalininsky district. Ilyich Avenue was sealed off by police.

The strike was delivered from the Kiev-Controlled Orlovka at 8:35 when many people in Donetsk had already come to work. The enemy fired three multiple rocket launcher rounds hitting a shopping mall in Ilyich Avenue, one of the busiest streets in the city.*jk
