Mariupol, Aug 17 — DAN. A regular cargo ferry line has been launched today between the DPR and Russia, DAN reporter in Mariupol says.

The first ferry, named Lavrentiy, arrived from Yeysk to the port of Mariupol.

The route is 80km long, and it takes 7 hours.

“The ferry completed its scheduled trip from the port of Yeysk to the port of Mariupol, the voyage was just fine, no storm whatsoever, ” the representative of the route told DAN.

The ferry’s capacity is 130 passengers and cargo. 

The port of Mariupol resumed operations in late May, the first ship delivered production of a steel works to the Rostov region. *ot
