Donetsk, Oct 20 — DAN. Kiev army has shelled Donetsk seven times since the beginning of day killing a civilian in the northwestern part of the city. 

The fatality was reported in the Kuibyshevsky district which came under fire five times on Friday. A 63-year-old man was killed in Kurchatov Street. The shell exploded several meters away from him car.  It injured a dog (its fate is unknown) and damaged a fence, a house wall and windows and the man’s car.

DAN correspondents visited another scene of shelling in the same district. A HIMARS projectile impacted next to Gorky colliery infrastructure facilities. A civilian sustained a minor shrapnel wound in the adjacent garages area.

The correspondents saw experts from the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes working at the scene. They said that the strike had been delivered from Ukrainian positions behind Konstantinovka, which are the responsibility zone of the Ukrainian army’s 27th artillery brigade under the command of Colonel Dmitry Khrapach. The strike damaged windows of a colliery facility, a furniture shop and an office building.

The enemy has shelled the Republic 16 times on Friday targeting Donetsk, Luganskoye, Makeyevka, Gorlovka and Yasinovataya outskirts.*jk
