Donetsk, Oct 18 — DAN. Border control on the administrative boundary between the Donetsk People’s Republic and the Rostov region has been lifted. DAN correspondents visited the Uspenka checkpoint to get information on current crossborder traffic.
Previously, residents had to go through ID and cargo inspection procedures on both sides of the border between the DPR and the Rostov region, which were carried out by DPR and Russian border guards. All control procedures have now been cancelled. Meanwhile, the Rostov region has kept a checkpoint where luggage is checked for banned items or substances.*jk
