Donetsk, Jun 14 — DAN. The government of Russia’s Chelyabinsk region has passed ambulances to the Donetsk People’s Republic on Tuesday.
The vehicles were handed over in Donetsk. DPR Head Denis Pushilin, Chelyabinsk region governor Alexey Teksler and representatives of the DPR government and local authorities attended the event.
“We haven’t come empty-handed today; we’ve brought ambulances, medical equipment and medications, ” Teksler said.
The governor said that 40 artificial lung ventilation units would be delivered to the Republic in the near future. The Chelyabinsk region will supply medications to the DPR on a regular basis.
Overall, the region handed over 11 “Gazel” and “Lada” ambulances to the town of Yasinovataya and the Volnovakha district.
Earlier reports on Tuesday said that the governments of the Chelyabinsk region and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area had concluded cooperation agreements with the DPR’s Yasinovataya and Volnovakha district.*jk
