Donetsk, Mar 29 — DAN. Two garages, cars and an apartment building with a post office in Donetsk’s Kievsky district have been damaged in shelling by Ukrainian forces.
The strike was delivered at Listoprokatchikov and Chapayev Streets. Enemy shells hit a yard next to a children’s playground. Two garages were destroyed, a car burnt down and another vehicle was damaged by shrapnel.
The apartment building which accommodates a “Donbass Post” office was damaged as well. The post office closed after the shelling and will not reopen on Wednesday. The shelling damaged windows of apartment houses and a gas pipe in Listoprokatchikov Street.
The residential area came under artillery fire at 10:25, said the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes. The enemy in the occupied Avdeyevka fired ten multiple rocket launcher rounds at the Kievsky district of Donetsk. Another ten missiles were fired from the same place at 11:45. No casualties were immediately reported.*jk
