“Donetsk, Nov 8 — DAN. A Ukrainian projectile has hit an electrical substation setting it on fire, Yasinovataya mayor Dmitry Shevchenko told the Donetsk News Agency.
“A town substation that feeds power to part of the town has caught fire. It’s the backup we’ve prepared knowing that it will happen, but this backup is now ruined, ” Shevchenko said adding that “we’re actively rerouting.”
“We’ll cope with the situation as we have foreseen it, but we only have one substation left for the whole town, ” the mayor said.
He added that Ukrainian gunmen had apparently targeted the substation which is located in the field. Preliminary reports said that the Ukrainian artillery attack had not caused any casualties.*jk
