Donetsk, Feb 8 — DAN. A woman and a man have been killed in western Donetsk’s Petrovsky district in shelling by Ukrainian forces, district administration head Natalia Begunenko told the Donetsk News Agency on Wednesday.
“Two people were killed between the ‘Galaktika’ mall and Dobrovolsky Street as a projectile hit the road. Windows of the house at 5 Dobrovolsky Street were damaged. The man and the woman were out in the street, ” Begunenko said.
The authorities are taking measures to identify the victims, she added.
The district came under artillery fire from the Kiev-controlled Ilyinka at 14:35, said the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes. The enemy expended five 155mm projectiles.*jk
