Donetsk, Jan 5 — DAN. A school and a swimming pool in Donetsk’s Petrovsky district have been damaged by Ukrainian gunmen’s artillery fire on Thursday, city mayor Alexey Kulemzin said.
“The artillery strike damaged windows of School No 101; the shelling is ongoing, ” Kulemzin said in comments on the situation in western Donetsk.
Earlier, Kulemzin said that the “Petrovsky” swimming pool had been damaged by shelling.
Western Donetsk has been under massive artillery fire since Wednesday night. Several strikes were delivered at the Petrovsky district at night and in the morning. The enemy is using large-caliber “NATO standard ‘ artillery.*jk
