Donetsk, May 29 — DAN. Ukrainian forces have shelled the frontline town of Gorlovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic at least five times on Monday causing civilian casualties, said the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes (JCCC).
On Monday morning, the town came under 152mm artillery fire three times. At around 14:00, Ukrainian forces fired a multiple rocket launcher at Gorlovka and then delivered another strike using cannon artillery. The attacks were launched from the settlements of Dzerzhinsk and Leonidovka.
A civilian was killed in Gorlovka’s Nikitovsky district and another three people were wounded, town mayor Ivan Prikhodko said adding that at least two single family homes in the district had been damaged by shelling.*jk
