Donetsk, May 17 — DAN. Ukrainian gunmen have shelled the Petrovsky district of Donetsk killing a civilian, city mayor Alexey Kulemzin said on Wednesday.
“The strike was delivered at a bus stop in Petrovsky Street, ” the mayor said adding that a 63-year-old woman had been killed outright and another four people (two women aged 59 and 50, and two men aged 52 and 53) had been wounded.”
The Kievsky, Kuibyshevsky, Kirovsky and Petrovsky districts of Donetsk have been under Ukrainian heavy artillery fire since Wednesday morning. The enemy is also using NATO-supplied weapons.
Earlier reports said that Ukrainian forces fired multiple rocket launchers at central Yasinovataya wounding five civilians. The DPR civilian casualty toll from Kiev attacks since Wednesday morning is one killed and nine wounded.*jk
