Donetsk, Aug 2 — DAN. At least 11 civilians have been wounded in Donetsk’s Kievsky and Petrovsky districts as a result of artillery strikes and remote mining by Ukrainian armed formations on Tuesday, city administration head Alexey Kulemzin said.

The latest report came from the Kievsky district in northern Donetsk where six civilians had been wounded: three women aged 27, 47 and 64 and three men aged 70, 81 and 66.

Earlier, Kulemzin said that a woman had been killed and another three had been wounded in the Kievsky district. A report from the city’s Petrovsky district said that a civilian had been wounded in shelling.

There have been more reports from local residents who were hurt in detonations of PFM-1 “Lepestok” mines which Ukrainian gunmen use to remotely mine residential areas. “In the Kievsky district, a 54-year-old man suffered traumatic amputation of the right foot, ” Kulemzin said. *jk
