Donetsk, May 12 — DAN. Eight civilians have been wounded in Kiev artillery strikes at the Donetsk People’s Republic on Friday, said the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes (JCCC).

“Two women, aged 73 and 60, were wounded in Tokarev Street in the Kirovsky district of Donetsk, and a 62-year-old man was wounded in Timur Street in the city’s Kuibyshevsky district, ” the JCCC said.

A 43-year-old woman was wounded in the Staromayorskoye village west of Ugledar. Updated reports said that an 8-year-old girl and 7-year-old boy had also been wounded in the village by artillery fire. A man, aged 41, was wounded in an UXO explosion at the Vodobud water reservoir in Yenakiyevo.

Donetsk mayor Alexey Kulemzin said that two civilians had been wounded in the DPR capital and its suburb earlier in the day. The DPR’s total casualty toll from artillery attacks on Friday is one killed and eight wounded.*jk
