Donetsk, Apr 7 – DAN. DPR Ministry of State Security (MGB) identified the mastermind of the murders of DPR Heroes Arsen Pavlov (call-sign Motorola) and Mikhail Tolstykh (call-sign Givi), said the Ministry's press service, attributing the crimes to the head of counter intelligence department of Security service of Ukraine Aleksey Petrov.

"DPR MGB has obtained reliable facts allowing to identify the mastermind of DPR Armed Forces commanders Motorola and Givi and other major terror attacks in the Republic; a high-rank officer of the Security service of Ukraine - head of counter intelligence department Aleksey Petrov."

It was established that Petrov, who was deputy head of the department at the time, was tasked with formation and supervision of special units which carried out terror attacks in DPR.

"After the Givi's murder Poroshenko promoted Aleksey Petrov to the head of the department to appraise his achievements, which are in fact crimes against DPR. This fact shows that Poroshenko himself sanctions murders of DPR citizens," the Ministry said.
