Donetsk, Nov 21 — DAN. A civilian has been killed in the Kirovsky district in western Donetsk in shelling by Ukrainian forces on Monday, the Donetsk People’s Republic Territorial Defense Headquarters reported.
“One civilian was killed and another was wounded as Ukrainian armed formations shelled the Kirovsky district of Donetsk, ” the HQ said.
Donetsk mayor Alexey Kulemzin said that a 90-year-old man had been killed next to a water point and that a 61-year-old woman had been wounded.
The enemy used 155mm and 152mm artillery to deliver strikes at the Kirovsky district on Monday.
Earlier in the day, a civilian was killed in the Petrovsky district which is also located in western Donetsk. The shelling caused power outages in the Voroshilovsky, Petrovsky, Kirovsky, Kievsky and Kuibyshevsky districts of the city.*jk
