Donetsk, Aug 30 — DAN. Ukrainian forces have shelled western Donetsk on Tuesday morning killing a civilian, the Donetsk People’s Republic Territorial Defense Headquarters said.
The tragedy occurred in Ruben Ibarruri Street in the city’s Petrovsky district which had come under fire twice over the past 24 hours. The enemy used 122mm and 152mm artillery pieces.
According to city authorities’ preliminary reports, several civilians were wounded when the solid waste landfill in the same district came under fire.
Earlier reports said that 60 windows and the lining of the Slavic Culture Centre in Donetsk’s Leninsky district had been damaged in shelling by Kiev forces.*jk
