Donetsk, May 10 - DAN. Ukrainian gunmen delivered massive fire at the Tekstilschik neighborhood in western Donetsk on Tuesday morning, the Donetsk People’s Republic Territorial Defense Headquarters reported.

The enemy fired five MLRS “Grad” missiles at Donetsk” Kirovsky district at 10:20, and as many MLRS “Uragan” missiles at 11:00.” On top of that, Donetsk’s Petrovsky district came under 122mm artillery fire.

At least three civilians were wounded and six houses were damaged in the shelling, the Territorial Defense Headquarters reported. Donetsk mayor Alexey Kulemzin said that an enemy projectile had hit an apartment house in Petrovsky Street in the Tekstilschik neighborhood.

 Emergencies Ministry personnel are reportedly battling a fire at a nine-storey residential building and the fires that engulfed 14 shops in Petrovsky Street next to the Merkury market.

The DPR Emergencies Ministry also reported a fire at Makharadze Avenue in the Kirovsky district.

The Mercury and Sokol markets in the Tekstilschiki neghborhood were repeatedly shelled in April; five civilains were killed and more than 20 were wounded at the time. On May 9, Ukrainian gunmen shelled the Kirovsky district with 122mm artillery and “Grad” multiple rocket launchers killing a 69-year-old womnan and a 16-year-old boy and wounding another nine civilians including a 15-year-old girl. *jk
