Donetsk, Jan 16 — DAN. More than 40 people have been killed on production premises in Kiev artillery attacks on the Donetsk People’s Republic from January through November 2022, the press service of the State Committee for Mining and Technical Supervision (Gortechnadzor) told the Donetsk News Agency.

“Over the first 11 months of 2022, 61 employees were fatally injured at enterprises monitored by Gortekhnadzor, a 46-percent increase year-on-year. Of those, 43 workers were killed in Kiev artillery strikes which makes up 70 percent of fatally injured employees.

The Committee reported seven deaths among coal miners in January-November 2022; of those, two miners were killed due to hostilities. Gortechnadzor’s Technical Supervision Department reported 54 deaths of workers including 41 which were caused by Ukrainian artillery attacks.

Earlier reports said that 231 DPR workers suffered injuries in industrial accidents that occurred due to fighting; overall, 473 employees were injured at workplaces in the designated period.*jk
