Donetsk, Dec 7 — DAN. A road accident which occurred between Torez and Shakhtyorsk in the Donetsk People’s Republic has claimed the lives of 15 people, and another four have been taken to hospital, the DPR Healthcare Ministry press service told the Donetsk News Agency.
“As of now, we know that the crash left 15 killed and four wounded, ” a press service representative said.
Torez Administration Head Dmitry Lysenko told DAN that the stretch of the road where the accident occurred had been sealed off. Emergency services are working at the scene. They are sending back the incoming cars and buses.
Authorities are looking into the circumstances of the accident. Russia’s TASS news agency said that a truck carrying servicemen had collided with a minibus and that the truck driver had been killed in the crash.*jk
