Donetsk, Dec 15 — DAN. Ukrainian armed formations have fired 40 “Grad” multiple rocket launcher rounds at the Voroshilovsky district of Donetsk on Thursday morning in the biggest attack at the city center since 2014.
Ukrainian gunmen delivered the strike from the Tonenkoye settlement at 7:00 targeting the intersection of Bogdan Khmelnitsky and Teatralny Avenues, Shkolny Boulevard, Artyom, Universitetskaya and Naberezhnaya Streets and the Indoor Market area.
Latest reports said that damage had been caused to the Transfiguration Cathedral, “Forum” mall, “Stolichny” business center, teaching blocs of the Donetsk National Technical University, a school, a kindergarten and apartment buildings. Damage assessment is ongoing.
