Donetsk, Oct 14 — DAN. Damage has been caused to infrastructure of three towns in the Donetsk People’s Republic which came under Ukrainian gunmen fire on Friday morning, the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination for issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes (JCCC) said.
The enemy attacked the Golmovsky settlement in northern Gorlovka, Yasinovataya and Donetsk’s Kuibyshevsky and Kievsky districts and Alexandrovka neighborhood. Ukrainian forces used 155mm (NATO standard) and 152mm artillery expending some 40 rounds of ammunition, the JCCC said.
Four homes were damaged in Alexandrovka; one of them was fully destroyed. The others took damage to walls, doors, roofs and windows. A utility shed next to one of the houses was damaged as well. In Gorlovka, a projectile hit a water supply line leaving residents in several streets without water.
No casualties were immediately reported.
Earlier reports said that two civilians were killed and another four were wounded in Ukrainian artillery attacks at the DPR over the past 24 hours.*jk
