Donetsk, May 4 — DAN. Ukrainian gunmen on Wednesday night shelled the Budyonnovsky district of Donetsk which is located far from the frontline and is regarded as relatively safe, city mayor Alexey Kulemzin said on Thursday.

“The victims are a 35-year-old man, a 33-year-old woman and a 6-year-old child, ” Kulemzin said.

The Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes (JCCC) reported that Ukrainian armed formations have shelled the Donetsk People’s Republic territory 16 times since midnight expending 58 155mm, 152mm, 152mm artillery rounds and two multiple rocket launcher rounds. The enemy targeted Donetsk, Gorlovka, Shirokaya Balka, Novoselovka Vtoraya, Stepnoye, Yakovlevka, Petrovskoye, Yegorovka and Mikhailovka.

On Wednesday, Ukrainian gunmen shelled the DPR 76 times expending 360 rounds of ammunition. Six civilians have been wounded and six homes and one civil infrastructure facility have been damaged in the Budyonnovsky district since Wednesday.*jk
