Donetsk, Aug 30 — DAN. Two civilians have been killed and another eight have been wounded in Ukrainian strikes at Donetsk since early Tuesday, DPR military agencies and authorities said.
“As a result of shelling by Ukrainian forces, the number of the wounded in Donetsk’s Petrovsky district increased to five and another two civilians died, ” the DPR Territorial Defense headquarters reported.
Two people were wounded in the Kuibyshevsky district in northern Donetsk, the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination said. Donetsk mayor Alexey Kulemzin said that another civilian had been wounded in Ukrainian gunmen fire at the Kirovsky district.
The fatalities are two men, aged 63 and 48. Both were fatally wounded in Ukrainian artillery attacks at Donetsk on Tuesday morning. Three men and five women including two young girls have been wounded.
Ukrainian armed formations have been shelling Donetsk using heavy artillery and mortars since early Tuesday. By now, the enemy has expended more than 60 rounds of ammunition .*jk
