Donetsk, Sep 26 — DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic parliament plans to increase the number of grant recipients among retired coaches, said chairman of the parliament committee on physical culture, sports and tourism Vladimir Chekun.
“We’d like the new legislation on physical culture to provide for grants from the state for retired coaches, ” Chekun told the Donetsk News Agency. “We’ve worked on it before, but now we want to expand the list of recipients as many specialists do not enjoy this support.”
They did not meet some selection criteria, so the idea is to make sure that each good sports coach is taken notice of, he added.
