Donetsk, Oct 18 — DAN. A civilian has been wounded in the explosion of a Ukrainian “Lepestok” anti-personnel mine in Donetsk’s Petrovsky district, the Donetsk People’s Republic Territorial Defense Headquarters said on Tuesday.
“A man was wounded in a PFM-1 mine explosion as Tovarischeskaya Street in Donetsk’s Petrovsky district came under Ukrainian armed formations fire, ” the HQ said.
Ukrainian gunmen have been remotely mining Donetsk residential areas with banned PFM-1 mines for several months. Seventy-nine DPR civilians including three children have been wounded in Ukrainian anti-personnel mine blasts; one of the victims died of his wounds in hospital. *jk
