Donetsk, Aug 16 — DAN. A civilian has been killed in Kiev gunmen’s artillery strike at the Kirovsky district of Doentsk, city mayor Alexey Kulemzin said on Wednesday.
“A 70-year-old man has been killed in the Shakhta Abakumova neighborhood, ” Kulemzin said.
Yasinovataya mayor Dmitry Shevchenko said that a 48-year-old man was wounded when the town came under artillery fire.
Ukrainian forces have been shelling Donetsk, Yasinovataya and the Yasinovataya district since Wednesday morning, said the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes. The enemy is using NATO-supplied artillery and cluster munitions.
Two Ukrainian PFM-1 anti-personnel mine incidents were reported in Donetsk on Wednesday morning.*jk
