Donetsk, Nov 19 – DAN. A Donetsk man has been charged with cruelty to animals after he shot and killed a cat.
Kuibyshevskiy district police in Donetsk detained the suspect after a report had been filed saying that a man "caused fatal body injuries" to a feline.
Investigators found that the man fired a shot with a pneumatic spring-piston rifle.
A criminal case has been launched under Art.289 P.1 (Cruelty to Animals that has involved their death or injury) of the DPR Criminal Code. The cat killer is facing up to six months in prison. *ot
