Donetsk, Nov 30 — DAN. The railway station, a gas pipe and a power line have been damaged in a Ukrainian artillery attack at Amrosiyevka overnight to Wednesday, district administration head Igor Lyzov said.
“Falling shrapnel damaged a gas pipe, the operation of boiler house No 7 was suspended, a 25kW power line was severed and windows of the railway station were damaged, ” Lyzov said.
Four high mobility artillery rocket system (HIMARS) missiles were fired at Amvrosiyevka from the Ukrainian-occupied Konstantinovka at around 2:00 a.m., the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes (JCCC) reported. Local authorities said there had been no civilian casualties.
Ukrainian armed formations also shelled Makeyevka’s Sovetsky district on Tuesday night. Damage was caused to an apartment building in Shevchenko Street and an electrical substation. A power outage partially affected the Sovetsky, Kirovsky and Tsentralno-Gorodskoy districts of the town. The situation had stabilized by Wednesday morning.
Reports on Tuesday said that railway facilities were damaged as the Kvashino settlement near the boundary with the Rostov region came under a missile attack. Kvashino and Amvrosiyevka are transit stations on the Yasinovataya-Uspenka railway which is used in passenger transportation. *jk
