Donetsk, Jun 21 — DAN. Ukrainian gunmen have fired some 100 rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic territory on Tuesday wounding five civilians, the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination and local authorities reported.
A 71-year-old man was wounded and two houses and a car were destroyed in a strike at Donetsk’s Petrovsky district. In Yasinovataya, two men and a woman, aged 34, 57 and 58 were wounded. At least 167 customers in the Mineralnoye settlement between Yasinovataya and Makeyevka were left without electricity. A woman was hurt in the Solnechny neighborhood in central Gorlovka.
The enemy has fired 100 rounds of ammunition at the DPR territory since daybreak. Strikes were delivered at Donetsk’s Kirovsky and Petrovsky districts including Shakhta Trudovskaya as well as at Yasinovataya, Mineralnoye, Shakhta Gagarina, Bairak, Golmovsky in Gorlovka and Panteleimonovka in its outskirts. The enemy used 155mm, 152mm and 122mm artillery, 120mm mortars, grenade launchers and small arms.
The JCCC said that the number of the people wounded in Ukrainian gunmen’s fire on Monday had increased to 18. The information is being updated. Earlier reports said that 11 DPR civilians had been wounded in Ukrainian strikes.*jk
