Donetsk, Mar 9 - DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic Prosecutor General’s Office opened criminal cases against Ukrainian army servicemen over the facts of strikes at the Staromikhailovka neighbourhood in western Donetsk, in which 11 houses were damaged, the PGO press service reported on Tuesday.

“Fifteen criminal cases were opened over the strike at Staromikhailovka. The DPR Prosecutor General’s Office is investigating criminal cases against commander of Ukrainian army 28th Separate Mechanised Brigade Maxim Marchenko and his subordinates over the acts of terror they committed, covered by DPR Criminal Code Article 229, Part 2,” the report said.

The investigators are currently obtaining evidence, the PGO said.

Earlier reports said that Ukrainian forces shelled the Staromikhailovka settlement in western Donetsk on March 8 damaging houses and a transmission line.*jk
