Donetsk, Apr 28 - DAN. Five civilians were killed on Thursday as two markets in Donetsk came under Ukrainian gunmen fire, the Donetsk People’s Republic Healthcare Ministry reported.
“The strike at the Tekstilschik neighbourhood in the Kirovsky district killed four people on the spot,” the report said. “One patient died in ambulance during the transportation.”
Twenty-three people including two children were wounded. The children suffered medium severity wounds, the Ministry said adding that the victims are receiving medical treatment.
Earlier reports on Thursday said that Ukrainian armed formations had opened fire at the “Mercury” and “Sokol markets located in the Kirovsky district in western Donetsk. *jk
