Donetsk, Jan 17 — DAN. Ukrainian forces have shelled the settlement of Blagodatnoye located between Ugledar and Volnovakha, the Donetsk People’s Republic Territorial Defense Headquarters reported on Tuesday.
“Ukrainian armed formations shelled Blagodatnoye killing a man, ” the report said.
The settlement is located near the frontline and the settlements of Vladimirovka and Grafskoye. This part of the Volnovakha district mostly accommodates single-family neighborhoods. Ugledar which remains under Kiev control is the largest settlement in the vicinity. The fighting in the area has continued unabated.
Earlier reports said that Ukrainian forces delivered a strike at a hotel in Volnovakha at night. Part of the building collapsed and a fire broke out. A woman was killed in the strike.*jk
