Donetsk, Dec 6 — DAN. Four civilians have been wounded in Ukrainian artillery attacks at the center of Donetsk, the Donetsk People’s Republic Territorial Defense Headquarters reported on Tuesday.
“Ukrainian armed formations fired several projectiles at an apartment building in Donetsk’s Voroshilovsky district wounding four civilians, ” the report said. “Several apartments were damaged.”
At around 11:45, the enemy fired 14 “Grad” multiple rocket launcher rounds at the Voroshilovsky and Kievsky districts of Donetsk. Projectiles exploded in the central market area setting trade outlets and cars on fire, and damaging the Transfiguration Cathedral, Tstentavr-Plaze business center, high-rise apartment buildings and a gas pipe.
A fire broke out at the Chaikino-330 electrical substation as Ukrainian armed formations shelled Makeyevka Chervonogvardeisky district. Smoke is seen from all parts of the town. No casualties have been reported.*jk
