Donetsk, May 11 — DAN. Eight civilians have been wounded in Ukrainian artillery strikes at the Petrovsky district of Donetsk and suburban Alexandrovka neighborhood on Thursday morning, the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes (JCCC) reported on Thursday.
Six people were wounded in the Petrovsky district and two in Alexandrovka, the JCCC said adding that two girls, aged 4 and 13 were among the victims.
The residential area reportedly took damage. In Tvardovsky Street where five people were wounded, a single-family home took a direct hit. Also, the shelling started a house fire in Alexandrovka’s Shkolnaya Street.
Three civilians were reportedly hurt in Gorlovka’s town’s Tsentralno-Gorodskoy district. The information is being updated.
Earlier reports said that Ukrainian artillery strikes on Thursday morning damaged at least five houses and a gas pipe in Gorlovka.*jk
