Donetsk, Feb 1 — DAN. A elderly woman has been killed by artillery fire next to the Nikolskoye village church outside Ugledar, the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes (JCCC) said in an update on the aftermath of the attacks on Tuesday.
“A civilian casualty update for January 31 said a 85-year-old woman was killed on the premises of the church in the village of Nikolskoye (administered by Starobeshevo district authorities), ” the JCCC said.
The village accommodates the Holy Assumption Nikolo-Vasilyevsky Monastery founded by elder Zosima in 1998.*jk
