Donetsk, Jun 21 — DAN. Three dozen cars including trucks, houses, gas pipes and infrastructure facilities were damaged in the “Uragan” multiple missile launcher strike at Makeyevka on Monday evening, the Donetsk People’s Republic Emergencies Ministry reported on Tuesday.
The strike was delivered at the town’s Chervonogvardeisky district at 18:40. A fire that broke out on the transport company premises in Chubar Street destroyed the cabins of three DAF tractor trucks and a trailer.
The Gorky neighborhood where the transport company is located is actually the center of the city which accommodates apartment houses, administration buildings, a hospital, a park and a stadium. The shelling damaged at least eight single-family or apartment houses, five gas pipes, a shop, garages and 30 cars in Chubar, Mekhanizatsiya, Fedko, Zapadnaya and Malinovsky Streets and Karl Marx settlement. The damage is being assessed.
The Joint Centre for Control and Coordination reported that five civilians had been wounded in the “Uragan” MLRS strike at the town. Initial reports said that three people had been wounded. Overall, 11 people have been wounded in Ukrainian armed aggression against the DPR over the past 24 hours.*jk
