Donetsk, Dec 9 — DAN. Ukrainian gunmen’s aggression has claimed the lives of 22 civilians in the Donetsk People’s Republic over the past week while another 60 have been wounded, the Office of DPR ombudsperson Darya Morozova reported on Friday.
Fifty-eight law-enforcement personnel have been killed and another 248 have been wounded in the designated period.
Overall, 10,171 people have been killed in the DPR during the whole period of Kiev’s hostilities.
Over the past week, Ukrainian gunmen have stepped up indiscriminate and chaotic artillery attacks at DPR towns and central Donetsk causing extensive damage and civilian casualties. DPR parliamentarian Maria Pirogova was killed in a recent artillery strike.
The UN Security Council on Friday will address the issue of Kiev artillery attacks at DPR civilians over the past week.*jk
