Donetsk, Jul 20 – DAN. The Vodafone mobile carrier resumed services in Donbass after a glitch occurred in the network in Kiev-controlled Slavyansk, said the DPR Ministry of Communications.

"Vodafone  has resumed operations in both People's Republics," the press statement said.

The connection to Vodafone was lost today at around 9 a.m.

On January 11, the DPR was cut off from the last Ukrainian mobile carrier MTS-Ukraine (Vodafone) services after an emergency disconnection of communication channel outside Elenovka. A DPR mobile carrier Phoenix was the only mobile services provider in the Republic. Vodafone resumed services on April 27.

On January 22, the LPR was cut off from the Vodafoneservices after an emergency disconnection of communication channel outside Veselaya Gora. It was restored within two days.

The Minsk talks participants are exploring options to attract foreign contractors to carry out repairs in both Republics. *ot
