Donetsk, Aug 30 — DAN. Territorial Development Fund (FRT) will repair more than 3,600 infrastructure facilities in the new Russian regions this year, the FRT state-run nonprofit company said on Wednesday.
“Regional budgets and other sources will contribute 49.8 billion rubles to restore 3,600 facilities under FRT supervision in the new territories this year, ” the company said.
The FRT will fund the repairs of 1,145 residential buildings, 227 social facilities and 173 utility systems in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics and the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. In addition, 41 transport infrastructure facilities will be restored and 47 other projects will be implemented.
Pursuant to government instruction, the FRT provides financial support to the sponsor regions in rebuilding the housing sectors and infrastructure facilities in the four new regions, and monitors the implementation of the repair plan.
The FRT opened its offices in Lugansk, Donetsk and Mariupol.*jk
