Donetsk, Jun 23 — DAN. The Russian Economic Development Ministry is preparing new measures to support producers in the Donetsk People’s Republic, the Ministry’s press service reported on Friday.
“Economic Development Minister Maxim Reshetnikov has visited Donetsk and Mariupol to check the implementation of presidential orders concerning the provision of federal support, ” the press service said. “Reshetnikov said that the Ministry, together with the regional authorities was working on new mechanisms to support DPR producers.”
The minister and DPR Acting Head Denis Pushilin signed an agreement on the region’s joining the “Labor Productivity” national project to enable local businesses to use the incentives within the project. DPR processing, trade, construction and agricultural companies are invited to submit an application on the project’s portal.
Earlier, Reshetnikov and Promsvyazbank Chairman Pyotr Fradkov signed an agreement at the Petersburg economic forum on preferential loans for businesses in the Donbass Republics and Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.*jk
